Annette & Jared Thurmon
Annette & Jared Thurmon are modern day homesteaders who live in a small town outside Atlanta, Georgia. After years of city life they sought out a more simple way of living and moved to the country. There they care for their organic garden and orchard, plus animals which include alpacas, miniature donkeys, chickens, turkeys, and more! As self-taught homesteaders, they share their daily farm adventures in hopes to inspire others to live a more simple intentional life. Annette will be speaking about seasonal eating and optimizing nutrient content in your food. Jared will be speaking about soil for your garden -- optimizing nutrient content in your soil so that your plants will be healthier, and in turn, your body will as well!
